For a changeable frame we start with a framed Jan54 Playboy. We want to remove this magazine and replace it with a December 1953 Playboy. Note that both magazines are contained in an archival safe Mylar sleeve. Our frames are sized to use this sleeve
and the magazine won't fit properly in the frame if is not used. One sleeve is included with each frame.
Turn the frame over and open the three Turnbuckles located at the right, left and bottom sides of the frame. Note that I no longer use a hanging wire for your frames. Two saw tooth hangers are now used.
Lay the frame down on a soft surface so the the finish isn't damaged, lift open the back cover using the strap at the top of the backing and remove the magazine.
Take the new magazine and lie it flat in the recessed opening in the frame.
Close the back cover and move the three Turnbuckles so that the back is held in place and reattach the 'S' Hook to the right Screw Eye.
The change is done and the frame is ready to be displayed. All this was done in less than 30 seconds.
Value Frames
For a value frame, I start with a framed Cable comic and will replace it with a Wonder Woman comic.
Turn the frame over, lay the frame down on a soft surface so the the finish isn't damaged, and remove the back by bending open the flexible framer's points
Remove the Cable comic and replace it with the Wonder Woman Comic.
Replace the back and bend done the framer's points.
The Change is done and the frame is ready to be displayed. All this was done in about a minute.
